Do you FLY?

Soon after I had Ben I came across this website that helps you gain control of your home. At first I thought it would be too much work, waste of time, etc. Well I gave it try and I fell in love.
The website is . It has changed completely how I clean, organize, and maintain my home with two young boys. I had not kept up with it once I found out I was pregnant with Ian, but now I am getting back into it and I am starting with the Baby Steps.
It does not take much to start because the First Baby Step is : Shine your sink. That's all you do the first day. Don't worry about the unorganized closets, rooms, cluttered kid's room. Just Shine your sink.

Here is where you begin Baby Steps
There are 31 Beginner Baby Steps. So for the first month this is what you do.

Starting on Day 8 you begin building your Control Journal.

This is what your Control Journal will look like with the labels in the end( The very essentials ones, because there are a few more). You can always make yours look way better than mine :) I just used what I had the day I made mine.
The main labels are Daily Routines, Basic Weekly Plan, Zones.
You don't add to your routine or start to Make your Bed until Day 15!

I am in love with the FlyLady and the routines! As I said I haven't kept up with it, but I have gotten back into it this week, since I have a routine with Ian now and I am doing the Baby Steps and also slowly following along with the Zones, we are in Zone 3(Bathroom and Extra Room) this week. So I focused on the bathroom and here is my work so far.

I organized my cabinet below and the drawers. Today I am cleaning the shower.

 How many of you FLY?
One of the sayings on FlyLady is: Do you have C.H.A.O.S. ? (Can't Have Anyone Over Syndrome)

How do you keep house, clean, organize? Do you have a routine, plan or a rush clean up for a whole day or two before company comes?

I am not saying my house is always clean( I do have a toddler) but I can maintain the clutter, organization and cleaning better now than before. I love routines!

Let me know your thoughts on this and share some of your tips and routines!
