Two months old

It is amazing how time flies- Ian is 2 months old!
Milestones at 2 months:
- He coos and squeals when you talk to him
- When held by someone else, he always turns his head and looks for me
- Laughs a little (have to get it on video)
- Able to hold head up longer when sitting in my lap and on his belly
- Sleeping 6-7 straight hours at night
I love seeing each month how much more he can do and I can't wait to see him eat baby food, crawl, and soon toddle around with Ben!

A big accomplishment this last week was he took a bottle with breastmilk in it! I felt so happy and relieved! Ben would not take a bottle until 8 months, even with breastmilk. So, with that accomplishment I didn't have to worry too much this past Sunday when I went to the movies with some girlfriends.

2 months old

Ian is 16 pounds at two months old! It still amazes me how each baby is different. Looking at Ben's baby book yesterday it said at two months he was almost 13 pounds.  What a difference!

What did your little one weigh at two months?

Still figuring out his nap routines but in the evenings I will usually feed him for the last feeding between 10 and 11pm and then he will sleep till about 5:30 or 6:30am. I am so happy to have some uninterrupted sleep.

Ben and Ian

My mornings are usually a little crazy because I am getting breakfast, feeding both kiddos, doing my devotional, workout, and some chores around the house. But- I wouldn't trade them because I love being home with my two boys and watching them learn and grow. I love waking up and seeing Ian smile at me, I love waking up to feet pitter-pattering to my bedroom to say "Hi Mommy!" . I am so grateful to be at home.
I also love that my husband is so supportive, helpful and always willing to lend a hand and give me a hug when I need it.

What are you grateful for?
