Fresh Start: Hello 2014

I am so happy I was able to take a little break from social media. I was not on much and if I was it was for a few short minutes. I have been able to enjoy the past two weeks with my family and also a little cold that snuck its way in the door. Thankfully it was not too serious so I was still able to enjoy all the excitement of the season. Just with a lot of tissues and medicine!

2013 has been an amazing year. My word for 2013 was RESTORE. I have worked hard at restoring relationships, restoring my body and so much more. It was an amazing year full of new beginnings, new career for my husband, 5th anniversary, 1st tattoo, and so much more. Here are some of my favorite pictures from 2013.

These were just a few but 2013 was so good to us and I can't wait to see what 2014 has to hold!

So for 2014:

I originally had another word but the more I thought and prayed about it the more this one kept coming back.

So for 2014 I want to be free in:

Being a wife- surprise my husband more and focus on him more. Have the freedom to go on more dates.

Being a mom- get rid of any mommy guilt and become a #wildandfree mom. Stepping out of my comfort zone.

Being a friend- Have more coffee dates with my close friends. See them more. I have a few friends I did not see much this past year and I am going to make an effort to do that.

Being a blogger- Have courage to make a path as a small blogger and to reach out to fellow bloggers by getting even more plugged in.

Being a Christian- Read more of the Bible and be able to speak with confidence with others about anything I have learned.

Being me- Conquering my weight loss goal with no guilt, shame or disgust of my body or self-image.

That is just a little bit of why I chose the word FREE. I would love to hear what your word is for 2014. Share below and let me know why you chose that word.

Don't forget to check out my GIVEAWAY going on.
