the desire {book review}

I really enjoyed Karen Kingsbury's Redemption series and The Dance. So when I saw the co author of those had a new book out I thought I would give it a shot.

I wasn't disappointed in the least and was truly inspired and encouraged by this story that made its characters really come to life.

The Storyline

For two years, Alan and Michele have been trying to have a baby. The emotional ride has been taking a toll on their hearts and their relationship. Michele is obsessed with researching fertility treatments while Alan seems content to spend his time and their money on supporting displaced children in Africa. Something's got to give. But they both hope it's not their marriage.

Still God has a plan for Allan and Michele that they could never have imagined. And all it takes to set in motion is a change of heart.

It truly is a captivating story that really draws you into their home and their marriage and shows the good and some struggles that happen in day to day. I couldn't believe I haven't heard of this series since this is book 3! I can't wait to go back now and read the first two.

Grab a copy and enjoy for a cozy fall night or two.

I received a copy from Baker Publishing in return for a review and post of my honest opinion.
