The Most Simple Easter Egg Decorating

I do not call myself a crafty mom. So seriously if I can do this with no hiccups you can too! Ben and Ian both love art and any type of craft involving paper, glue, markers, paint, basically whatever has the ability to draw and be drawn on.

So since Easter is almost here and Thursday afternoon we were having a little bit of a lull between 4 and 5...I decided we needed to do a little Easter egg decorating!

This is the perfect weekend activity to do together (plus no special tools or ingredients needed)! So ready? Let's go!

Needed

Eggs
Crayons
Plates (or any surface to use for decorating)
Tissues or little gloves (to keep hands from hurting while touching eggs)

How To

--Boil water.

--Put eggs in water to boil for about 12 minutes.

--Once they are finished, pull out and set out to cool for about 2-5 minutes.

You want them to be cooled off a little but still pretty warm for decorating. Now here comes the fun part!

--Decorate! While decorating the crayon will begin to "melt" on the tip and make the best designs!

--Once finished place eggs in fridge to cool for about 15-20 minutes.

--Take out and put on display for all to see.

Simple right? Yep! Tag me on Instagram if you try it! I would love to see what your little ones come up with.
